Etiquette Of Reciting the Quran: Things We Should do before Reading The Quran.

Quran is the Sacred Book. We should, therefore, treat it with respect. The most important conditions for handling the holy Book is set by the Quran itself:

A Book well guarded. None shall touch it, but those who are pure.
(Quran-56: 78-79)


  • Recite a portion of it each day and night, regularly.
  • Pay full attention to what you are reciting. Pronounce its words correctly. In case of difficulty ask your teacher or parents.
  • Keep the Quran in a Clean place, preferably facing the Qiblah.
  • Read it slowly and in a good voice.
  • Begin reciting the Quran with.
